Handling rod HV 38.5 kV

Handling rod is designed for operating of switch-disconnectors, earthing point and other revolving mechanism control at distribution transformer stations with the nominal network voltage of up to 35 kV. It consists of insulating pole terminated by square-prism or hexagon-prism according to controlled mechanism, handle guard and revolving handle with crank. Insulating pole is made of glass – fabric laminate which is suitable for its high electrical and mechanical resistance and stability. Handling rod is determined for indoor use  under normal climatic conditions. The handle is provided with the protecting ring (hand guard). Handling rod complies with ČSN 35 9701, IEC 832.
