Insulating rode with safety hook is designed for free out of endangered space the person hit by electric current in systems with the nominal network voltage of up to 35 kV. Safety hook is made of glass-fabric laminate which suitable for its high electrical and mechanical resistance and stability. It fulfills the requirements on the protection equipment for outdoor use. Insulating rod with safety hook is determined for indoor use, as wel as for outdoor use under use normal climatic conditions. The handle is provided with the protecting ring (hand guard). Insulating part of 863.040 consists of two pieces connected by means of connecting element. Insulating rod with safety hook complies with standards ČSN 35 9701, IEC 832.
